1. Booking, Modifications & Room Swaps
By booking a room at Hotel Munal, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Reservation modifications are allowed and welcomed. However, requests to switch rooms are subject to availability and remain entirely at the hotel's discretion.
2. Cancellations & Refund Policy
We enforce a tiered cancellation policy to manage our room inventory fairly:
- Free Cancellation: Guests are entitled to a full refund if the cancellation is made more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled check-in time.
- Late Cancellation: Cancellations made between 48 hours and 24 hours prior to the scheduled check-in time are eligible for a 60% refund of the total booking cost.
- No-Shows (Paid Reservations): Paid reservations that result in a no-show without prior notification before the 24-hour check-in window will not be refunded.
- No-Shows (Pay-at-Check-in): Guests with reservations set to pay at check-in who fail to arrive or notify the hotel of cancellation will be permanently barred from booking accommodations at Hotel Munal in the future.
3. Intermediary Role & Third-Party Services
Hotel Munal facilitates bookings for local jungle safaris, canoe rides, birdwatching tours, and other experiences in Chitwan National Park. The hotel acts strictly as an intermediary agent between guests and third-party activity operators. Under no circumstances does Hotel Munal assume liability or responsibility for accidents, injuries, losses, delays, damages, or service failures occurring during activities operated by third parties.
4. Liability Limitations & Premises Safety
We strive to maintain a clean, secure, and peaceful garden environment. However, any injuries or personal accidents occurring inside the hotel premises that are not directly caused by the hotel's proven negligence do not constitute any liability on the part of Hotel Munal. Guests are advised to exercise reasonable caution at all times on the property.
5. Property Damage, Fines & Misconduct
To maintain the cleanliness and integrity of our rooms, common spaces, and typical Nepali dining environments for all guests, we enforce a strict property damage and hygiene policy:
- Any instances of vomit, defecation, or general disfigurement of rooms, furniture, or hotel assets will constitute heavy cleaning fines matching the cost of professional remediation or replacement.
- Willful destruction, theft, or vandalism of hotel property will be immediately escalated to local legal authorities.
